The Optima Health network includes doctors, hospitals, behavioral health providers and other specialists who have agreed to accept your Optima Health care beneits. When you see an in-network provider, you pay a lower copayment or coinsurance amount for the services you receive.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a yearly flu vaccine for everyone six months of age or older. Your Optima Health beneit covers the cost of a flu vaccine from a participating provider.

There are a few things that Your Plan does not cover, such as: Services provided before Your coverage began; Services not listed as a covered service under your plan; Charges for missed appointments; Services rendered as a result of non-covered or pre-existing conditions; Virtual Consults except when rendered by approved Optima Health providers; and Reversal of voluntary sterilization.
